Welcome to the Auld Alliance B&B

Corinne and Ed offer a warm welcome to their guests all year round in their small, family-run B&B in the Highland village of Gairloch.

Set on a hillside only a short walk from the village and its amenities, the Auld Alliance offers peaceful accommodation and great views over Loch Gairloch to the mountains of Torridon and Skye. It is an ideal base for exploring the whole of Wester Ross and the Isles.

Gairloch itself offers visitors clean sandy beaches, mini cruises on the loch to spot seals, dolphins and porpoises, a thriving harbour, an excellent golf course, opportunities for fishing, cycling, pony-trekking and birdwatching and some of the best and most varied walking and climbing in the UK.

Visitors to Gairloch also enjoy many places to wine, dine and shop all around the loch. There is an excellent heritage museum and, in all seasons, the local inns and hotels hold ceilidhs and live music evenings.
